Shine Tour (Holland) – Concert 7

The program is based on the book Jane (my first book, an autobiography, which I wrote together with Henk Stoorvogel) and the book Red Alert (my second book, about human trafficking and forced prostitution). I have already been sharing my story and the story of Red Alert on numerous occasions across Europe and for different audiences (churches, schools, public organisations, prisons, tv, radio, etc), but this time we will bundle all in one story of about 45 minutes, with music (band & choir) in between, singing some powerful songs about God’s love. This is also the goal of the tour, to tell of God’s hope, love and healing and to raise awareness about what is happening on our doorsteps (in terms of human trafficking & and forced prostitution,to be a voice for the voiceless). We will also use the tour to raise money to help fund organisations that help these girls get out of this life to a life of freedom.

We have chosen a few well known songs and a few songs which have been written especially for this programme: ‘Shine’ from Scott Lavery (the Plan) a song from my children ,Jesse, Hannah & RJ, a song from Hannah & RJ and another song from a Dutch song writer Peter van Essen. (for the UK tour (planned in October this year) there will also be a hymn written for this tour by Ruthie Thomas, a hymn writer. So the tour will be a message (storyline) told by Jane and music in between, with different styles & songs, a choir of about 12 people and the band The Plan .Arnold Wienen is the leader of this tour and will also conduct the choir ,and sing as well.
